Twerk is the newest type of dancing in which an individual, usually a female, dances to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low squatting stance. The basic emphasis of this dance move is on your booty and accentuating the movement of your hips and body. Twerk has certainly become part of the dance culture today. Get in step with the newest trend and learn many ways to twerk on our Exclusive Aussie Twerk dance classes!

AussieTwerk Technique is the body of specialized procedures, methods and syllabus used on our classes, courses and workshops. Twerking involves shaking the hips up and down in a vigorous bouncing motion, and a low, squatting stance. Therefore, excessive movement takes place at the lower lumbar spine. And through its spirited repetitive motion we develop core and lower back muscles, making our twerk movements and different rotational shaking moves sharp and precise.

When you join our classes you learn Twerk Technique first, and once you are confident with basic technique & steps we start teaching you different moves in 'sumo', 'standing' and 'squat' positions.  You can only develop twerk technique through training and practice. Be ready to spend from 4 to 8 weeks developing and strengthening your core and lower back muscles before you start seeing yourself twerking like a Pro. Twerk classes are well suited as a cardio-load. Apart from the twerking movements we do a lot of butt and leg toning exercises, as well as stretching exercises.

AUSSIE TWERK OUT CLASS 

Twerking can get you tons of attention, but can it give you a workout? Absolutely! a 60 minute, high-intensity Twerking in a deep squat is truly an amazing workout for quads, glutes, hamstrings, lower back and abs. Does it actually burn calories? It does! 1 Hour Twerk Out burns up to 450-500 calories. 
In case you don’t want or you don’t have time to go to gym, but you want to stay in shape, then come to our Twerk Out Class! Twerking is fun, cool and sexy! You're more likely to stick to an exercise routine that is fun. The more you stick to the routine, the more likely you are to see results. If you like to dance, if you want to burn lots of calories twerking out for one hour and you want to strengthen the core muscle or if you simply love to shake it to twerk music, then don't hesitate to join us this Sunday!

TWERKZotic CLASS

TWERKZotic is a newest style of AussieTwerk in which we combine basic twerk moves, different rotational shaking moves with the exotic dance plasticity and sexiness. 

Choreo is built on the contrast: Twerk covers the ‘bounce’ basis of so called ‘brown beat’ and ‘triggerman beat’ while Exotic/Heels styles cover the lyrics and general theme of dance in a seductive manner. 
During the class you’ll learn a sexy choreo to a popular TwerkZotic song such as 'Earned It' by the Weekend from “Fifty Shades of Grey”. We also cover basic twerk lower back technique and ‘must know’ twerk moves, which are used in the choreo.

CHOREO & TECHNIQUE CLASS

During class you will learn a sexy Twerk Choreo to a popular twerk/trap song. We will also be working on such Aussie Twerk Elements as:  Lower Back Movement,  Bouncing, Shaking, Isolation, Hip Movement, Knee Movement, Hand Movement and Accentuating. 

MUSIC: Trap, Twerk, Hip-Hop 

WHAT TO WEAR: sneakers, runners, jazz shoes, gym shoes, barefoot. Comfy Shorts or Leggings.
